The Silent Corner

The Silent Corner (Jane Hawk, #1)The Silent Corner by Dean Koontz
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jane is one badass on a mission! She is on leave from the FBI and living off the grid investigating her husband's suspicious suicide even though he had everything to live for. Jane is determined to find out what happened to her husband no matter the risk. She soon realizes that her husband is not the only one in the string of weird suicides.
Jane sleeps with one eye open and trusts no one. Her enemies are out there and trying to stop her from finding out the truth.

This was my first Dean Koontz novel and I was expecting something else but was very surprised by this one and will continue this series.

The Rise and Fall of a theater geek

The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek (Justin Goldblatt, #2)The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek by Seth Rudetsky
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"Justin, a Broadway obsessed teen, gets a chance to intern for his dream Broadway star in NYC but will life get in the way of him achieving all he wants."

I gave this book 4 stars, it had some interesting characters and the plot line was unique but at times I felt bored with the main character.

Conviction

Convicted: A Crooked Cop, an Innocent Man, and an Unlikely Journey of Forgiveness and FriendshipConvicted: A Crooked Cop, an Innocent Man, and an Unlikely Journey of Forgiveness and Friendship by Jameel Zookie McGee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is about an innocent man and a crooked cop that put him behind bars and their journey through pain, heartache and redemption.

This book was very easy to get through. It was inspiring and made me see how much God can play a role in our lives even when we shy away from him.

I was given this book in exchange for my honest feedback.
