This Is My America-Review

This Is My AmericaThis Is My America by Kim Johnson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was amazing! This book follows Tracy who is on a mission to free her dad who is on death row for murder and he is innocent. This book is one I couldn't put down and everyone needs to read. This book sheds a big ass light on what we are living in the US.

5 Stars I would give more if I could.

Secret Admirer by R.L. Stine -Review

Secret Admirer (Fear Street, #36)Secret Admirer by R.L. Stine
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Selena is living her best life. Being an A-list pick for all the big acting roles at her school. Selena starts
getting weird and eery notes. Its the case of who is this person sending her it, her ex that is pining to get her back, her good guy friend that is jealous, or a new creepy intern of her teacher that knows way too much about her life.

This book was a good Halloween read. Brings me back when I used to read these in my teens. The characters were interesting and the plot was unique in a way.

The Girl on the Train-Review

The Girl on the TrainThe Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I read this book as part of a book club that I have with my siblings. I thought this book was very engaging and had me guessing what was gonna happen throughout the book. The characters were annoying but likable and relevant at the same time. I loved the writing style and would recommend this book to all thriller lovers.

The Killing Type: A short story from the bestselling author of My Husband’s WifeThe Killing Type: A short story from the bestselling author of My Husband’s Wife by Jane Corry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am a huge fan of Jane Corry's books and this one is no different. This book follows what follows after Danielle tells her sister, Susie to meet her at a cafe because Danielle's husband has been trying to kill her.

This book was thrilling, suspenseful, shocking. The characters were likable and the plotline was so intriguing.

Recommend to all

Bring Me Back

Finn is accused of murdering his girlfriend Layla at a rest stop in France when she is reported missing, Finn is first on the suspect list as he as an issue with controlling his anger.

12 years later Finn is engaged to Ellen who just happens to be Layla's sister.

After announcing their engagement Finn starts receiving signs that Layla isn't dead after all or someone is playing a sick game. Finn starts to distrust everyone and everything he thought he knew

I am a huge fan of B A Paris's writing style and absolutely loved her two previous novels. I thought this book was different than anything she has ever written. It wasn't as suspenseful as the previous books but I did find myself intrigued to see how it was gonna play out. I recommend this book to everyone that likes a good thriller.

Woman No. 17

Woman No. 17Woman No. 17 by Edan Lepucki
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Lady, a mother of two boys--one a toddler, one a special needs teenager.she id newly separated from her husband.so she hires a nanny so she can write a book about her experience with her son that can't talk. S., a recent college grad artist who becomes nanny to Lady's toddler so she can reinvent herself.

This book intrigued me by the cover alone. The storyline had its good moments. The characters were flawed but it gave the story more realism . Some parts of the story were too repetitive but overall it was OK.
